Mufti Omar Baig

Shaykh Omar Baig was born and raised in Mississauga. He has traveled all around the world, spending over a decade in learning Islamic sciences. His studies began in New York, where he completed his memorization of the Qur’an at Darul Uloom Al-Madania. He then traveled to Chatham, Ontario to complete his ‘alimiyya degree at Darul Uloom Canada. He further developed and refined his skills by travelling to Bury, England to to train in issuing legal verdicts under some of the most experienced and esteemed scholars in the UK. He then travelled and lived in the blessed city of Madina for four years while getting his bachelors degree in Islamic law. Shaykh Omar has since been teaching various Islamic sciences in Darul Uloom Canada and recently completed his masters degree in Islamic finance from INCEIF university in Malaysia.
